Logistics in four dimensions

See the whole day.

QuayFold is a 4D digital twin for warehouse and freight networks: a 3D map of sites, roads, trucks, forklifts, warehouse robots and pallets, where time is the fourth dimension. Replay the day, fold it into one picture, and ask what if.

5 OCT · 00:00 → 24:00 The day stands up as a block, then the Cranbury warehouse before sunrise. Simulated network; companies and trucks are fictional.

How it works

A dashboard shows a moment. Your day is a story.

Most operations tools show one moment: what is at the dock now, which truck is late now. But a day is cause and effect, and the cause is often somewhere else, earlier. QuayFold keeps the whole day as one model and folds time into a dimension you can see.

The QuayFold time fold: a transparent block standing on the map of the network, with a line for every truck climbing through it hour by hour. A few lines are amber or red; one dark line traces a single pallet.

  1. Height is time

Press one button and the whole day stands up as a block: midnight at the base, midnight at the top. The map stays underneath.

  2. Every truck is a line

Each truck draws one line through the block, coloured by status, carrier or hour. Where a truck waits, its line stands straight up.

  3. Pick your grain

Look at the whole day, one shift or a single hour. Fold back down and you are on the live map again.

QuayFold map of the New Jersey Turnpike: a red road segment marked Crash, truck TRK-2023 in transit on it, and an inspector panel showing the truck 27 minutes late for Cranbury.

Cause and effect, in one picture

  1. A crash shuts the Turnpike.
  2. TRK-2029, carrying the helmets, got through just ahead of it and backs into the dock at Cranbury.
  3. TRK-2023 is caught in the crash. It reaches Cranbury 27 minutes late.

On a dashboard those are separate rows. In QuayFold the late arrival and its cause sit on the same map, in the same day.

The film

One day at Cranbury

Follow one pallet of safety helmets, LPN 000530, across the network on 5 October. Then the whole day folds into one picture, and a what-if replays it in snow.

  1. Elizabeth portLoaded onto truck TRK-2029.
  2. NJ TurnpikeA crash shuts the road just behind it.
  3. CranburyBacks into the dock: the refill is here.
  4. Rack A06A forklift shelves it, third level up.
  5. NewarkA customer order sends it on.
Everything in the film is simulated; the companies and trucks are fictional.

Product

Everything that moves, and when it moved.

A live 3D map of every site, road, truck and forklift, lit by the sun's real position through the day and night. Underneath it, one model of the whole day that you can search, open up and question, in a browser or on a phone.

QuayFold with the day folded at 14:30: truck lines climbing from 00:00 at the base to 24:00 at the top over the daylight map, coloured by the hour, with the Day, Shift and Hour controls, the five sites listed on the right and shipment tracking at the bottom.

The whole day, standing up

Height is time, midnight at the base and midnight at the top. Every truck is a line through the block, coloured by status, carrier or hour. View a day, a shift or an hour.

A pallet labelled LPN 000530, Safety Helmet, at the Elizabeth port hub next to a truck at the dock, with an inspector listing its SKU, zone and journey today.

Follow anything

Search any truck, forklift, pallet (by its LPN), shipment or SKU, and the camera follows it. Each pallet has its own journey: where it was, and when.

Inside the Cranbury warehouse with the roof lifted: rows of racks stacked with pallets and a forklift carrying the pallet LPN 000530.

X-ray

Lift the roofs to see inside: racks, staging lanes and the forklifts working them.

A low-stock alert for safety helmets at the Cranbury regional DC, shown over the warehouse before sunrise, with the site's dock doors listed on the right.

Alerts and incidents

Low stock, late trucks with their cause, yard waits, refrigerated-trailer temperature excursions and battery swaps. Road incidents, like a crash on the Turnpike, are drawn on the map.

The What if panel: dock policy, outbound demand, weather set to snow, incident toggles and forklifts per site, with a Run the day button, over the network at night.

What-if, in under a second

Change dock policy, demand, weather, the number of forklifts or open doors, or toggle incidents, and re-run the entire day in under a second. Every KPI shows its change against the baseline. In the demo, snow takes on-time arrivals from 95% to 60%.

Truck TRK-2029 in transit on the Turnpike with a crash marked just behind it, and a shipment tracking card stepping from order confirmed to delivered with an ETA.

Shipment tracking

A stepper from order confirmed through picked, loaded and in transit to delivered, with live ETAs.

The briefing, step 1 of 9, over the network map at 05:30: 113 truck trips are planned today between five sites.

Briefing

A guided, narrated walk through the day's key moments. Each step moves the clock and the camera for you, and you can take over at any time.

The demo network Simulated data

Five sites, one full day, simulated in about 80 ms.

The demo runs a fictional operator in the New Jersey – Lehigh Valley freight corridor through 5 October. It is deterministic: the same inputs always give the same day.

Pilot

What a pilot on your network would involve.

QuayFold is an early product. If you run warehouses or a freight network, we would like to build a pilot with you. This is what we propose; the scope is agreed with you before anything starts.

  1. We map your sites

Your buildings, dock doors and racks, laid out as a 3D map like the demo's.

  2. We connect a day

A day of your own WMS, TMS and yard events. Or, if that is not practical yet, we simulate one from your plans.

  3. You replay and ask what if

Replay your own days, fold them, and test what-ifs, such as dock policy, open doors or forklifts, before they happen.

Who it is for
